I purchase this amp, to separately power the underseat midbass of my 2021 BMW X3M, since I upgraded those subs to an Earthquake offering. The factory proved to weak to power them, so I needed small, compact, yet with decent power. The MM1002 fit the bill just nicely. With it expanded x-over settings, in which I was able to tune it to a bandpass setting, to keep the ultra lows out, but to fill the midbass just. _x000D_
It doesn't get hot, provides great power, sound rather well, despite its lower price point. This is my 3rd D4S amp, and wont be the last. Great products, great features, fast delivery.

I have this amp paired with DOWN4SOUND JFX69 6x9 speakers and Down4sound D4S DW1ST super tweeters in a custom built box for the jeep. Don't let the size fool you, this amp drives them speakers loud and clean. And it compact enough where you can install it anywhere in your vehicle. *_x000D_
Even at a 2ohm load this amp stays cool.

Very nice amp! Very efficient and plenty powerful for what I’m using it for. It’s in a homemade boombox with a Taramps dsp and a pair of sound extreme 8” marine coaxials.

This amp was perfect for powering a couple of Sundown Super Tweeters. The only part I don't really like is the RCA pigtail, but I'm sure there's a good reason for it

Im running my hole system on d4s mini maxx amplifiers and i absolutely love them! I transitioned from a "high end" brand name amp set up as I learned I had WAY OVERPAID, and I bought the mini maxx to test my theory of "more expensive does not mean better" as I learned of the manufacturing where-abouts of my "high end" equipment._x000D_
Well these sound better. Yes they sound much better, are more efficient, and offer full range/bandpass filtering, and the list goes on. Well done down4sound
