So this ad needs to be updated! The box is NOT MDF, in fact seems like Birch or some other plywood. The box i replaced with this was smaller and made of MDF and twice as heavy. Dont get me wrong I’m not talking smack, that makes me happy! I needed to cut some weight. Also this box now comes with an SMD quality terminal cup!! _x000D_

Overall I’m extremely happy. I hooked it up last night and quickly listened to it at current amp settings and was blown away!! Subs are much happier in this box than the one they were in! This box gets low while also getting loud!! Can’t wait to dial in the amp and see what its true potential is. Also love the embossed logo on top! _x000D_

I’d say for the price this box is the best on the market for overall quality and sound! The Bedliner is a nice touch to help with scuffs and what not. Did take a bit to get it but that was UPS and not D4S. Also has a small ding on the bottom back side which again is UPS. But if u are hesitant on if u should get this box or not, don’t hesitate anymore. Just buy it already!!!

The box is NOT 16 inches tall. It is 15.25 inches tall. The only reason I specifically bought this box was because it needed to fill a 16 inch space....very disappointing for my particular situation. Not worth trying to refund, but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this beforehand. Although, box seems fine aside from that.

Box came in perfect condition and was delivered on time easy to assemble,not much to say but it’s one hell of a deal

So I ordered this box, inspected it no damage. But before I got to assemble i decided to convert this to a single sub box. So I went to Home Depot and had a 3/4 inch birch plywood cut the dimensions of the baffle. Assembly was easy. However there are no grooves for the pieces so you’re stuck holding the pieces for a few minutes while the glue hardens. Another thing is the actual pieces of wood aren’t numbered as the diagram shows so you’ll have to visual verify each piece before gluing. I used #8 1.5 inch premium wood screws. I painted the box with latex gloss black paint. I haven’t used yet so I can’t say how it sounds. I also used flex seal spray around all the edges to ensure no air leaks. I changed my mind on my setup this is why I chose to convert it to a single sub box. I plan on wiring the sub and strapping amps. Just a daily driver build no spl.
